I use boxee on my TV but I was sad to find out I can't stream netflix on boxee via apple tv. I have enough tivos to record all the shows so there are few that I need to go back to boxee for - just a missed episode here and there.

Okay...so if it's on the Internet, you can watch it on Boxee - is that what it means? So Hulu and other web content providers can be accessed through it. But you need to plug in your Mac or PC to your TV and download some free Boxee software.

That sounds very straightforward and exciting. And you even said that you don't need cable! But...from what I saw there it seems that you can't get cable through this, only the online content that the cable, TV and web channels have made available over the Internet.

It sounds like a real step forward, though, and the prospect of watching my favourite web series on TV is very tempting. Is Boxee going to be going into partnership with Web channels to get their content onto TVs all across the land? And does using Boxee sidestep the issue about viewing content in other countries (e.g. viewing HULU outside the US?).

Another great video, Tim - you really keep us up to date on what's going on.
