RED Scarlet: The Camera for Web Series Creators

I spent the weekend at CES in Vegas with my buddy Ted from Red camera. We walked around the show floor and gave a few private showings of the new RED Scarlet prototype and then we did a little “pop in” on the Engadet trailer and it was pretty funny. All the Engadget guys jumped out of their chairs to mop Ted and get a look at the new RED camera.

The body of the Scarlet will be $2750.

  • nice - I am looking forward to this big time. A great camera at a great price. There may be issues, but after RED One's time in the field and the Epic's imminent release I am sure that there will be very few issues.
    Certainly going to put a high quality HD camera in the hands of many Indie Filmmakers on tight budgets
