I would think that the key to selling a tablet would be to show how it's different and better than a touch screen phone. I have a Droid - it fits in my pocket, has a great screen, serves as a GPS in my car, blah blah blah...<br><br>I want to know why I would want a tablet when I have the wi-fi/smart/gps/multi-media phone in my pocket and a powerful computer at home (because a tablet ain't gonna edit HD video anytime in the near future). Apple created iTunes LP and iTunes Extras are examples of interactive content that can be done without Flash. They can easily handle magazine, ebook, and newspaper formats in an interactive format with animation. This is all handled through standard HTML 5.0, CSS, and Javascript. Apple does not need Flash. Adobe flash runs 10 times slower on Mac OS X (and thus OS X on the iPhone) than it does on Microsoft Windows on the SAME HARDWARE. Adobe Flash causes almost all of the browser crashes on Mac OS X and Windows. Adobe Flash is a huge resource hog. It uses up most of the CPU time when it is running. Adobe Flash causes security problems. Adobe Flash causes Apple to be second banana on any platform and causes Apple to be dependent on Adobe for new releases. The only way to save Flash, if at all, is for Adobe to release it as open source and to release it as GPL software. Otherwise, it will die eventually. Flash is proprietary. It is NOT a standard.
