I didn't watch the Superbowl but I knew all about this ad beforehand. It is very funny and I would be very interested in it's success because yesterday the Internets were abuzz with people sending each other the careerbuilder gift (http://www.facebook.com/giftshop.php?ref=nf) that featured Jeff Lewis as the thong-attired cube-worker.

Jeff Lewis, of course, plays Vork in the hit web series The Guild (created, written and starring Felicia Day) and their large online community had a lot of fun with Facebook yesterday. Felicia herself was sent multiple Vorks as evidenced from her Twitters yesterday.

Will all this buzz help the advertisers? It surely can't hurt but whether they can tease out the extra pull of the Facebook/other social media companion-advertising is another question. Are there metrics in place to measure this activity and show how it converts to active interest?
