Allison Salewski just joined the staff at Beet.TV and in her first post is an interview that Andy Plesser did with Mark Rotblat, VP of Sales & Marketing at TubeMogul. Andy gets Mark to spill the beans on who’s using TubeMogul to distribute and Super Syndicate their content. From Home Depot to Revision3 and from Next New Networks to Red Bull brands and digital media companies are using TubeMogul to launch themselves and their content across the world.

Are you using TubeMogul?

Do you have any tips or tricks you would like to share?

I’m using it for most upload sites, except for Blip. Since I use it as my main video on the official A Comicbook Orange site, I like to have control over what thumbnail is used. Also, by going directly through Blip I can upload an iPhone friendly file to embed with the flash player on my site.

Unfortunately, Tubemogul doesn’t compile the stats from Blip… which sucks since it’s my main feed.

The best way to look at Tubemogul is to think of it as extra distribution that you don’t have to think about all the time. Just upload and let it happen.

I would really like it if they added a way to upload multiple formats and thumbnails, though… then maybe I’d do more with it.

Actually we do now include stats for Blip – views, geos, engagement and more.

Tim – thanks so much for the love.

Brett – Perhaps the Blip stats only show up if you upload via Tubemogul? That would explain why I can’t track my Blip stats through Tubemogul…

Yes. But you only have to upload one video from TubeMogul to Blip and we’ll capture all of your data going forward, regardless of whether your other videos are uploaded via TubeMogul.
